IT’S been said before but we’ll say it again.
What is it about roundabouts that seem to get road-users in such a fluster? Do we come to a complete stop? Who has right of way? When do I indicate? Who am I? Where was I going?
Among the generations of motorists that have been using the roundabout, most seem to spiral into a vortex of amnesia the moment they arrive at the edge of one.

Abbott flexes his big pension extension
WORD the Abbott government is actively considering raising the pension age to 70 is cause for concern.
Despite Prime Minister Tony Abbott’s pre-election promise of “no cuts to education, no cuts to health, no changes to the pension, no changes to the GST and no cuts to the ABC or SBS”, the scissors are out.
This week treasurer Joe Hockey said the pension age would have to rise and 70 was the age being considered to cope with the age pension that was growing at a “massive rate”.
The future for Generation X is also looking rather bleak. If the pension age should continue to rise, people could be applying for the pension with one foot in grave.
